Safety is Our Priority

At Atlantic Millwrights, creating a safe working environment is our number one priority. Our health and safety program coordinator assists with on sight safety inspections, as well as training AMI personnel in the latest OSHA standards. AMI has written safety programs, detailing every situation our employees can encounter on a job site.

Risk assessment is a critical factor in creating a safe working environment. This is why each AMI project manager must conduct safety meetings prior to starting work each day. These meeting identify the day’s plan and possible safety issues that may come occur during day. AMI will work with production and facility to ensure each safety concern is addressed. Additionally, AMI works within customer specific safety requirements, realizing that all facilities and job sites are not equal. That is why AMI mandates the creation and implementation of a site specific safety plan.
